Dr. Petry is a native of Southeast Texas. He is board-certified in Family Medicine and has been in practice for over 19 years.

Dr. Petry began his career in correctional medicine and currently serves as a Facility Clinical Director for the Federal Bureau of Prisons in Houston, Texas. He also has a special interest in health, wellness, and preventive medicine.

Dr. Petry is a proud veteran who served in the United States Marine Corps during Operation Desert Storm.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors. He is an avid runner and loves fishing, golfing, and motorbiking.
